Free Museums (Don't Miss These)

Hong Kong Science Museum

One of Asia's best science museums for kids. Free on Wednesdays! Regular entry is $20 HKD adults, free for under-4s. The Energy Machine (22m tall) and the mirror maze are highlights. Tip: Go at 10am opening on Wednesday — it fills up fast with school groups by 11am.

Hong Kong Museum of History

Also free on Wednesdays. Interactive exhibits on HK's history from dinosaurs to the handover. Kids love the full-size fishing junk boat and the recreated village streets. Cost: Regular $10 HKD adults, free for under-4s.

Hong Kong Space Museum

The dome-shaped building is iconic. The Space Theatre shows are paid, but the exhibition halls are free on Wednesdays. The solar system walkway is a hit. Location: Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront.

M+ Museum (West Kowloon)
